Open-Source Contributions & Hackathons

Site Reliability and DevOps engineering across cloud-native platforms, open-source projects, and hackathons, with hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD, Observability, DevSecOps, FinOps, and AI-driven infrastructure automation.

  • Engineered secure AWS EKS platforms and multi-AZ cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, Helm, and Argo CD, applying GitOps for reliable and repeatable deployments.
  • Built reusable Terraform modules for VPC and EKS, reducing environment provisioning time from 45 minutes to 15 minutes.
  • Designed distributed microservices platforms using Go, Java, Node.js, RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL, focusing on resilience, asynchronous communication, caching, and failure isolation.
  • Automated CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, implementing parallel pipelines, Docker build optimization, quality gates, security scanning, and automated deployments.
  • Implemented DevSecOps controls using SonarQube, Trivy, OPA Gatekeeper, Kubernetes NetworkPolicies, and AWS IRSA.
  • Built production-oriented observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Jaeger for metrics, logging, distributed tracing, SLI/SLO monitoring, alerting, and reliability analysis.
  • Applied SRE principles including incident analysis, RCA, MTTR reduction, fault tolerance, high availability, and reliability engineering.
  • Built ZeroDrift, an autonomous SRE & FinOps control plane using Python, FastAPI, Terraform, Google Cloud, Vertex AI, and MCP for infrastructure drift detection, automated remediation, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Implemented human-in-the-loop GitOps, Terraform AST analysis, and deployment blast-radius evaluation to make infrastructure automation safer and more controlled.

DevOps Research Engineer & Technical Writer

2025 – Present

Medium - Freelance

Researching and documenting complex Cloud-Native architectures, DevOps workflows, and SRE principles. I focus on bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and production-ready implementation.

  • ARCHITECTURAL ANALYSIS: Authoring in-depth technical deep-dives on Kubernetes (EKS), GitOps (ArgoCD), and IaC (Terraform), dissecting "The Why" behind critical infrastructure decisions.
  • KNOWLEDGE TRANSLATION: Breaking down complex operational challenges (e.g., Managing State in Microservices, Zero-Downtime Deployments) into actionable, step-by-step implementation frameworks for the engineering community.
  • DOCUMENTATION AS CODE: Advocating for high-quality engineering documentation, treating runbooks, architecture decision records (ADRs), and system topologies with the same rigor as production code.

Software Engineering Intern (Frontend & Telemetry)

Jan 2024 – Jun 2024

GE Aerospace

  • Built high-performance telemetry dashboard interfaces for aero-engine diagnostics using React.js.
  • Optimized data visualization rendering and reduced UI latency for massive real-time sensor streams.
  • Operated within a strict enterprise Agile environment, gaining foundational experience in corporate software delivery and team collaboration.

Engineering Experience (Projects)

ZeroDrift: Autonomous SRE & FinOps

Apr 2026 – Present

Google Cloud Hackathon

Tech: FastAPI, GCP, Vertex AI, GitLab MCP, Terraform, Python, SSE

  • The Problem: Infrastructure drift takes hours to patch manually, and traditional AI agents are too dangerous to automatically write and deploy Terraform directly into production.
  • The Solution: Built an autonomous event-driven control plane using Google Vertex AI and GitLab that instantly detects misconfigured cloud resources and orchestrates the exact declarative Terraform code required for remediation.
  • Production Safety (Blast Radius): Engineered a Python-based AST parser to statically analyze Terraform modules prior to execution, accurately calculating the deployment blast radius to guarantee zero automated breakages.
  • Human-in-the-Loop GitOps: Designed an asynchronous pipeline leveraging Server-Sent Events (SSE) that streams proposed infrastructure changes in real-time, requiring explicit human approval before triggering CI/CD merges.
  • The Metrics: Cut drift resolution time from hours to seconds, eliminated hardcoded credentials via Workload Identity Federation, and shifted FinOps from manual quarterly audits to continuous autonomous processes.

Cloud-Native Retail Platform on AWS EKS

Jun 2025 – Mar 2026

Tech: AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, RabbitMQ, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, Go

  • Built an e-commerce platform with 8 independent microservices. Connected them with RabbitMQ so if one service crashes, the rest of the store stays online.
  • Set up Redis caching to store frequently accessed product data, taking heavy read traffic off PostgreSQL databases.
  • Locked down cluster security by writing Kubernetes Network Policies and using AWS IRSA so pods can access cloud resources without hardcoded passwords.
  • Cut AWS setup time from 45 minutes to 15 minutes by writing reusable Terraform modules for VPCs and EKS clusters, saving state securely in S3.
  • Reduced time to spot broken services to under 10 minutes using Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger distributed tracing.

Wanderlust: Enterprise DevOps Platform

Jan 2025 – May 2025

Tech: AWS EKS, Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Trivy, ArgoCD, ELK Stack, Docker

  • Built a deployment pipeline using Jenkins, cutting execution time by 35% via parallel jobs and dropping Docker build times by 40% using layer caching.
  • Set up automated Quality Gates that instantly block code from deploying if it has less than 80% test coverage or critical bugs.
  • Integrated SonarQube, OWASP, and Trivy to scan code and containers, dropping production security issues by 95%.
  • Automated deployments with ArgoCD, actively monitoring Git and instantly correcting infrastructure drift.
  • Built Grafana dashboards to track engineering speed (DORA metrics) and system reliability (SLOs).
